Reflection on UJAM

     UJAM was an all around goof experience if you are looking for a amateur way to make music. It is not the easiest way to figure out but when you do it is a blast to use. There is a video i would definitely recommend watching before you do any work on that website. It is right at the home page of http://www.ujam.com/, it is a very helpful video and it goes over all the basics for you to start making your music. I would not recommend this website to you if you are looking at making a album or a high end song. All in all i will give this website a 7/10, it is not amazing but not terrible.

Making a Difference

     Everyone can make a difference in this world, its just the fact that you have to want to help others. I have always had a positive learning experience with the smart board we have in our class room. It gets you to interact with the material you are being taught. My goal is to put 1 smart board into every school in Saskatchewan. Smart boards are not cheep, that is why i am going to put together a organization called "Let the Kids Learn". It is going to put on fundraisers such as magic shows, concerts, etc to raise money to buy and install smart boards. It will take some hard work, dedication, and lots of volunteers to make this possible. How to UJAM

     Are you a music lover? Do you have a passion for music? If so you have to check out a new website i just found yesterday called UJAM. You can make you own music for free! You can do many cool features that this website has, you can record your voice and make it into the sound of a guitar or any other musical interment you can think of. You are bassicaly your own dj, whatever type of music you like it can be made into it. You can be creative and have lots of fun on this website. There is even a tutorial video you can watch before to give you the low down on the website. I highley recomened you try out this website and take a look around it and see all the features it offers you. i hope you like this website as much as i did and i will put the website bellow.

Japans Earthquake

     Recentally there was a earthquake that happened about 100 miles of the coast of Japan, when there is an earthquake in the water it creates somthing called a sunami. Sunamis are massive waves that can do some serious damage. Unfortunally that wave that hit Japan was 3 stories high and did some serious damage to the cities by the coast. The sunami created more serious situations than just water in the streets, it is causing  reacter problems. They can not cool down the reater which is dangerious becasue it could explode and send deadly radiation into the air. I give all my prayers and wishes to the people in japan, the world is going to help you. There is video footage and updates on CNN website so go check it out.

Apple/Mac

     One of my favorite commercials were those Mac Computer ones, the one where the Justin Long was the Mac and the other fat bald man was PC. I always laughed at them, but I never new how awesome Mac computers really were. About a year ago me and my family purchased a Mac Desktop and it was amazingly fast that had so many applications and other cool things. I highley recomend you get a Mac because they are amazing.
     Apple does not just make computers but it also has another huge product, a little thing called the Ipod. The Ipod is basically a MP3 on steroids, i personally like the Ipod Touch's because they have awsome and cool games on it. It lets you go on the internet and watch videos on a larger screen than the other Ipods. Just because I like the Ipod touch's doesnt mean the other Ipod models are bad, they are all well made products that let you listen to your favorite songs.
     So next time you see a Apple store go in a take a look at some Mac computers and othe gadgets they might have because they are very well made and have awsome software. I sayed it once and ill say it again, I highly recomend any Apple products so go out and take a look!

Kinect

     I am a former X-Box 360 owner but i traded it in recently which was a big mistake. I wish I wouldn't have got a PS3 because of a recent piece of amazing technology came out for the 360, it is called Kinect. Kinect is a camera that reads your motions and puts it on the television. It allows you to control the game with your own body motions.
     A major problem in our society is obesity and it is a good thing that games our now introducing movement's and let people get off the couch and maybe even loose some weight. Kinect is unique because it does not require a remote unlike the Wii or the PS3 move.
     I have never personally tried Kinect for the X-Box but i hope to soon, i think it is a very awesome piece of technology that I hope I like. If anyone reading this that has tried the Kinect leave a comment below and let me know how you like it. Here is a picture of the kinect.

Photosynth

     Today was fun friday in our IP10 class, we got to see some very cool peices of technology on a website called, http://www.ted.com/. It is a website that shows all new technology that is coiming into our world. We got to what 2 videos, one about a multi-touch touch screen and very awsome website that allows you to see things from around the world throught different peoples pictures, the website is called, http://www.photosynth.com/.
     The multi-touch touch screen video was from 2006, we are already seeing things like the Ipod Touches and the Ipads that already have brought the multi-touch screens into the publics hands but this peice of technology was very interseting in its own way. it have very cool applacations/programs that I found were very intersting.
     The last video we got to watch was about a webstie that allowed you to explore the world in detail from others peoples photos all gathered into one website. You can look at the CN tower to the the beautiful city of Las Vegas! You should really take a look at this website, I highly recomend you check it out!
     With all of these awsome new peices of technoloies and softwares coming out, it is hard to keep up with finding out what new ones are coming out, http://www.ted.com/ is a great website that got me to find these awsome new technologies.
